Dutch frigate Europa laid down at Maassluis, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Courant dated 19 April 1839

An item reported that on the 11th at the shipyard of E. van der Hoog, Maassluis, Netherlands the keel was laid down of the frigate ship Europa of 600-700 lasten for account of A. van Hoboken&Zonen, Rotterdam with intended captain D.G. Niesen.
