An item reported the launching of the Dutch frigate ship India of more as 500 lasten at the shipyard Rotterdams Welvaren, Rotterdam, Netherlands. Built by shipbuilder B. de Hoogh for account of A. van Hoboken en Zonen. Excellent passenger accommodation. Intended departure towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies on 8 December.
