Dutch frigate ship Zeeuw departed Middelburg, Netherlands towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 3 July 1834

An item dated Middelburg, Netherlands the 2nd reported the departure on the 1st of the Dutch frigate ship De Zeeuw captain J.J. ter Hofsteede towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies.(1)

1. The Vlissingse Courant dated 2 June 1835 published an announcement dealing the intended auction on Thursday the 25th in the Societeit de Vriendschap, Middelburg. Netherlands. Described as built of oak-wood, in good condition and recently returned from Batavia, Dutch East Indies. With a between deck of 1,141 below the beams of the main hatch. Dimensions 32,81 x 5,87 x 4,27 and measuring 254 Roggelasten.
