Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Jason launched at Rotterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 20 June 1829

An item dated Rotterdam, Netherlands the 17th reported launching of the Dutch 44-gun frigate Zr.Ms. Jason at the navy yard.(1)

1. Frigate 2nd class, laid down in 1824 by P. Glavimans since 1847 guard ship at Willemsoord, stricken 1 May 1850, sold to be broken up in November 1850 for ƒ 23.000 . Displacement 1.461 tons and an armament of 44 guns. Docked between 30 May and 11 June 1834 in the dry dock at the navy yard of Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands where the outer hull was caulked and a copper double hull fitted. An announcement in the newspaper Weekblad van Den Helder en het Nieuwediep dated 4 November 1850 reported her public sale on Tuesday 19th November at 10.00 o’clock. She was at moment lying in the dock at Hellevoetsluis.
