French bark Duquesne temporarily grounded on outer ground off Terschelling, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Courant van Den Helder dated 6 August 1864

An item referred to a tiding from Terschelling. Netherlands dated the 1st reporting that on Sunday 31 July a French bark ship was grounded on the outer grounds. On the aft ship could be read Duquesne-Bordeaux. Her captain refused all support and even shot with a rifle on the approaching boats. With high tide she was refloated and continued her voyage.
