Dutch schooner Nueval Clara seized by a Venezuelan schooner according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 24 January 1863

An item reported the rumours that the Dutch schooner Nueval Clara underway from Maracaibo towards La Guayra was stopped by a Venezuelan schooner of war in the Gulf of Maracaibo and brought to Guayra. The schooner was fulfilling an order of the government of Maracaibo destined for the government of Caracas.
