Dutch steamboat Stad Vlissingen no. 1 transported troops towards Rotterdam, Netherlands destined for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche courant dated 19 June 1858

An item reported the arrival on Wednesday at 21.00 o’clock at Vlissingen, Netherlands of a detachment of 153 military coming from Harderwijk, Netherlands and from Rotterdam, Netherlands transported on the steamboat Stad Vlissingen no. 1 to embark on board of the Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. De Ruyter bound for the Dutch East Indies.
