Dutch steamship Zr.Ms. Curacao ordered to tow corvette Zr.Ms. Dolfijn from Veere, Netherlands towards Hellevoetysluis, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 23 March 1837

An item dated Middelburg, Netherlands the 22nd reported the arrival of the Dutch steamship Zr.Ms. Curacao (1) commanded by Lejeune on the 19th at Veere, Netherlands coming from Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands. She was ordered to tow the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Dolphijn (2) from Veere towards Hellevoetsluis. The Dolpijn in the meantime was expected the same day at Vere coming from Vlissingen, Netherlands via the Sloe on tow of the steamboat Schelde. The Vlissingse Courant of the same dated reported that she left on the 20th the Dokhaven at Vlissingen and to depart Vlissingen in the afternoon of the 22nd.

Dimensions 37,5 (Asmus)-38,8 (naval deputy engineer A. Bakker) x 8,05 x 4,96 metres, horsepower 106 hp and speed 8 knots.
