An item reported that on Thursday the 23rd at 02.00 o’clock the Venezuelan schooner of war Mariscal coming from Puerto Cabello bound for Willemstad stranded at the east point of the island Curacao and was totally lost. Sails, rigging and so on could be salvaged was the expectation.
