American whaler Clara Bell lying in April at Talcahuano, Chile according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 14 June 1864

An item referred to a letter dated 20th April written by the first officer of the bark Clara Bell captain Fisher of Mattapolsett, USA lying at Talcahuano, Chile reported a catch of 100 barrels sperm oil during her last voyage. The next day was she expected to depart for a new voyage arriving in October at her homeport. Measurement 295 tons. Agent R.L. Barstow. Departed homeport on 24 June 1858 for the Pacific.
