Austrian navy using half seasoned wood for her ironclads according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 21 June 1864

An item referred to a correspondent of the British newspaper London Times writing that the Austrian navy made serious mistakes while building their ironclads. For the last three was half seasoned wood used!
