British E.C.I. brig Mary Ann visiting Batavia according to the newspaper Java Government Gazette dated 29 February 1812

An item reported the arrival at Batavia, Dutch East Indies on 5th February of the brig Mary Ann captain N. Buchanan of the E.I.C. coming from Bantam, Dutch East Indies in ballast with dispatches for the government. She departed on the 26th towards Samarang, Dutch East Indies although with as captain Ramsay.
