French revolutionary Armand Barbès transported by Spanish la Ville de Bilbao from Barcelona to Seville, Spain according to the Dutch newspaper Utrechtse provinciale en stads-courant dated 17 May 1856

An item dated Madrid, Spain the 14th reported that the Spanish government ordered the arrest of Barbes (1) at Barcelona, Spain and on Thursday he was embarked on board of the corvette la Ville de Bilbao which would transport him towards Seville, Spain where he was to stay.(1)
