American whaler Atlantic bound for Fayal, Azores according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 12 July 1859

An item reported the departure from New Bedford, USA within ten days of the American whaler Atlantic captain Silva with the intention to visit Fayal, Azores offering to transport stores for the inhabitants over there. Silva himself had bought 1.209 bushels of corn at New York, USA to be sold at Fayal.(1)
