British East Indies Company fitting out 27-30 ships towards the Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche courant dated 11 July 1772

An item dated London, England 1st reported that the British East India Company fitted out 27-30 ships on the Thames bound for the Indies. Furthermore was a huge number of recruits enlisted to be sent towards Indostan [Hindustan, India].
