Dutch ship of the line 3rd charter Schrikverwekker 1798-1806

Laid down at the navy yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands by R. Dorsman and Mast in 1798. launched on 28 September 1799, wrecked on 18 May 1806 on the reefs at Poeloe Parra/Puloo Pinang, Dutch East Indies, with as dimensions 180’x 48’x 21 8/11’and an armament of 68 guns. The news of her loss was received via Denmark and published in the Dutch newspaper Koninklijke Courant dated 14 January 1807. She was part of the squadron commanded by rear admiral Hartsinck. Her crew was saved.
