Ship Olympia arriving at Bedford, USA with part of the catches of the Jireh Swift and Manuel Ortez according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 12 July 1859

An item reported the arrival of the Olympia on the 5th at New Bedford, USA coming from Monganul, New Zealand with 140 barrels sperm oil of the bark Jireh Swift (1) for Swift&Allen and 400 barrels whale oil from the bark Manuel Ortez (2) for Weston Howland, New Bedford.

1. Measurement 454 tons, captain Earl, shipping agents Swift&Allen, departed on 2 December 1857 towards the Pacific.
2. Measurement 351 tons, captain Hazard, shipping agent Weston Howland, departed on 5 October 1857 towards the North Pacific.
