An item referred to tidings dated 15th December 1866 dealing with the movements of the ships belonging to the Dutch squadron in the Dutch East Indies. The Dutch row gunboat Zr.Ms. No. 14 lieutenant 2nd class D.J.A.D. van den Steen served as guard ship in the roads of Samarang, Dutch East Indies.
