Municipality of Harlingen, Netherlands bought storehouse from local whaling company according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche courant dated 15 December 1864

An item dated Harlingen, Netherlands 13th reported that the town bought from Barend Visser en Zonen for ƒ 30.000 their storehouse for Greenland whaling and seal hunting activities. This so-called Collegie situated at the Zuiderhaven had earlier belonged to the Admiralty.
