Russian screw steam sloop Djigith visited Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 21 February 1887

An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 19^th reported the arrival of the Russian steam warship Djigith captain Nedelof coming from Singapore.(1)

1. Screw steam sloop of the Kreiser-class, laid down 1874, launched in 1876, completed in 1877 and scuttled on 2 January 1905. Her armament consisted of 3-6” guns, 4-4.2” guns, 4/6-1pd revolvers.
