Dutch screw steamship 3rd class Zr.Ms. Reteh stationed at the Moluccas, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche staatscourant dated 10 August 1869


An item referred to an official tiding dated 15 June dealing wit the movements of the Dutch warships serving in the Dutch East Indies. The Dutch screw steamship 3rd class Zr.Ms. Reteh captain lieutenant A.W. Keuchenius was stationed in the waters of the Moluccas.(1)

Screw steamship 3rd class, callsign GQSR laid down at the navy yard at Amsterdam Netherlands as Sprinkhaan on 18 March 1858, launched on 19 April 1860, renamed Reteh in 1859, condemned in 1871, dimensions 43,00 x 9,20 x 4,30 metres, a displacement  of 759 tons, horsepower 119nhp/250 ehp speed 7 knots, an armament of 6 guns and a crew numbering 100 men.
