An item referred to an official tiding dated 15 June dealing wit the movements of the Dutch warships serving in the Dutch East Indies. The Dutch screw steamship 3rd class Zr.Ms. Vesuvius captain lieutenant J.H.K. Croes was underway to the Moluccas.(1)

3,5 (fore)-4,0 (aft) x 4,80 (depth below main deck) metres , horsepower 80
bhp-119 hp, an armament of 8 guns (4 long 12 pd, 4 short 30pd) and a crew
numbering 75 men.
