Steel-built. Launched at the shipyard Verschure&Co.’s Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek N.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands with yard number CO 375 for account of the Directorate of Ports and Navigation, Basrah, Iraq on 15 February and commissioned on 8 September 1958. Dimensions 63,20 (over all) x 12,10 x 4,88 (depth) metres, deadweight 1.200 ton and a register tonnage of 1.141 gross and 192 net tons. Hold capacity 166 cubic metres. Dredging depth 16,15 metres. Main engine 3x870 hp. Speed 11 knots. IMO no. 5007637.
