British steamsihp Kathleen Mavourneen towed from England towards the Netherlands to be broken up according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 23 October 1903

An item reported the arrival on the Nieuwe Waterweg, Netherlands on the 22nd of the steamship Kathleen Mavourneen (1) from Liverpool, England to be broken up. She was towed by the tug Hollander.

1. Paddle steamer passenger ship built at the shipyard of A. Jack&Co. Seacombe, in 1885 for account of the Drogheda Steam Packet Company and in 1902 handed over to the Lancashire and Yorkshire railway. Gross register tonnage 988 tons and as dimensions 79,4 x 9,5 x 4,7 metres or 260.5’ x 31.1’ x 15.4’.
