An item reported that the British cutter Swallow captured the French privateer Friend of the Country of 10 guns and 28 men and her prize Liverpool captain Lidle/Litle underway from Honduras towards London, England. The Amsterdamsche courant dated 4th called the French privateer just Coentry.
