An item reported that the British privateer Caroline
of Whitehaven captured the merchant ship Aurora
captain Carsten Bleer underway from Lisbon, Portugal towards Cherbourg, France
and which was sent to Whitehaven. A second prize the Hoopende Zeeman captain
J.K. Bakker coming from Lisbon was sent to Kinsale, Ireland.
