British privateer Kent captured in the West Indies by Danish frigate according to the Dutch newspaper Bataafsche staats-courant dated 7 March 1806

An item reported that on 9 December 1805 the British privateer Kent of 14 guns which was for a long time active in the West Indies and chased or visited several Danish merchant ships was taken by the Danish frigate stationed in the West Indies and brought to St. Croix (1) where she was guarded by the guns of the fortress over there. The advocate of the Danish crown would start a lawsuit against the captain of the privateer.
