British privateer recaptured from French privateer the merchant ship Venus bound for England according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamsche courant dated 4 May 1793

An item reported that the merchant ship Venus captain Stewart underway from Lisbon, Portugal towards London, England was captured by a French privateer and then recaptured by a British privateer.
