Privateer of Tripoli captured by Portuguese warship according to the Dutch newspaper Koninglyke staats-courant dated 11 August 1806

An item dated Lisbon, Portugal 9th July reported that the privateer of Tripoli which had earlier captured the ship Mercurius captain Henn of Hamburg of the Portuguese coast was now captured by a Portuguese warship. The Portuguese government decided not to release the privateer and crew until this was done with the Mercurius including her rich cargo.
