Bark Merapi underway from the Dutch East Indies towards the Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 21 January 1887

An item dated Boulogne, France 19^th reported that the Dutch ship Merapi captain Prul loaded with coffee underway from Batavia, Dutch East Indies towards Dordrecht, Netherlands was stranded 10 miles south of Boulogne. Assistance was underway with the hope that s he could be refloated if the weather would not change.
