Dutch ship Nil Desperandum sighted underway from England towards the USA the wreck of bark Daphne according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag dated 13 January 1892

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 12th referred to a letter written by captain K.G. Mulder of the Dutch ship Nil Desperandum arriving at New York, USA coming from Liverpool, England. He wrote that on 29 November 1891 on 41.45 north and 33.37 west the abandoned wreck of the bark ship Daphne was passed. Just the deck was still above the water level.
