Norwegian bark Ellisif sunk in the Elbe, Germany according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 28 January 1892

An item dated Hamburg, Germany 25th reported that the masts of the Norwegian bark ship Ellisif were broken just above the deck. She sunk on the 2nd around 500 metres below the waterworks of Altone in the waterway of the Elbe. Due to the ice was it not possible to lay buoy to warn passing ships.
