Sudanese general cargo ship Merawi 1979-1996 (Baco Trader 1996-1999, Green Glory 1999-2004)


Gross tonnage 9.691 tons, net tonnage 5.304 tons, deadweight 12.111 tons and as dimensions  149,91 x 21,24 x 8,5 metres. As the Merawi Cyprus-flagged until 1993, Sudan-flagged until 1994, again Cyprus-flagged until 1996, as Baco Trader Nigeria-flagged until 1998, Cyprus-flagged until 1999 and then Egypt-flagged. Renamed Baco Trader in 1996, Green Glory in January 1999. Broken up at Alang, India in 2004. As the Green Glory owned and managed by the Green Line Shipping&Trading Company, Alexandria, Egypt, call sign SSLD. Her building  at Brodogot Uljanik shipyard, Pula, Yugoslavia for account of the Sudan Shipping Line with as homeport Port Sudan was ordered in December 1977, launched with hull number 330 in April 1979 and delivered in January 1980.
