Russia-flagged, IMO 8501701, MMSI 273133800 and call sign UFPV. Gross tonnage 2.257 tons, summer deadweight 761 tons and as dimensions 109,2 x 13,9 x 6,3 metres or 358’x 46’x 21’. Fitted out with 2 diesel engines supplying totally 1.140 hp allowing a speed of 19,4 knots. Her crew numbers 55 men excluded the 140 cadets. Her building was ordered in 1984 and she was launched on 31 March 1987 at the Gdansk Shipyard [Lenin Shipyard], Gdansk Poland. Owned and managed by the Makarov State Maritime Academy, St. Petersburg, Russia.
