Dutch navy bought Catalina flying boats in the USA according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 22 January 1951

An item reported that the Dutch cabinet bought for the Netherlands Naval Aviation Service (MLD) 6 Catalina PBY flying-boats in the USA of which already one arrived in the Netherlands.
