Dutch navy negotiating with Canadian forces for buying amphibious planes according to the Dutch newspaper De Gooi- en Eemlander dated 18 March 1950

An item reported that the Royal Netherlands Navy was negotiating over buying 6 Catalina amphibious planes from surplus war supplies of the Canadian forces. These planes were to replace the Catalina flying boats now used by the 7th squadron stationed in Indonesia.
