France building dry docks for 18.000 ton battleships according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1906 no. 7

An item reported that at Point-du-Jour, Brest, France a new dock was built to be used for docking the new 18.000 armoured ships. Dock No. 2 in the arsenal at Lorient, France was also to be enlarged for docking 18.000 ton ships. A commission proposed to make a third dock with the dimensions 188,6 x 33,5 metres, which were the same dimensions which Dock No. 2 after the enlarging would have.
