Iron built with wood planked, launched in 1879, draught 3,5 metres, armament of 4 guns, horsepower 90 nhp, maximum speed during a watch of 4 hours 6-7 geographic miles and a tonnage of 383 tons. Crew umber on 31 December 1880 75 Europeans and 24 natives and stationed at Ajeh. Arrived at Olel leh, Dutch East Indies coming from the Netherlands on 29 July 1880. Departed Olel leh on 30 July 1880 towards Onrust, Dutch East Indies, some machinery repairs between 9 August-27 September and arrived on 5th October at the station Northern Sumatra to replace the Sambas.
