Dutch 6th charter Wageningen 1723-1748

Of the admiralty Amsterdam, built by Gerbrand Slegt at naval yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1723, stricken and broken up in 1748, dimensions (Amsterdam foot) 131 x 36 8/11 x 16½, draught 9¼-13½, an armament of 36 guns and a crew numbering 200 men. Commanding officers 1723 captain Cornelis Schrijver and part of squadron to protect against Barbarian privateers, according to Schrijver very well performing ship, is the only ship built by Slegt with this qualification, fitted out with oars, drove 4 October 1724 the Algerian Rode Hart (34 guns) off Tetouan, Morocco on the coast and 1732 captain Jacobus Teengs.
