British auxiliary cruiser Salopian lost according to the Dutch newspaper Limburger koerier dated 4 June 1941

An item dated Berlin, Germany 2nd referred to an official statement of the British Admiralty that the auxiliary cruiser Salokian [the Salopian] of 10.000 gross register tonnage was sunk. She was the former passenger ship Shropshire of the Bibby-Line. (1)
